Consistent terminology builds trust and reduces confusion. Use these approved terms across all Nexub products and documentation.
| Use this | Not this | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Sign in | Login / Log in | Use "sign in" and "sign out" consistently. "Log in" sounds technical. |
| Sign up | Register / Create an account | "Sign up" is friendlier. Use for new account creation. |
| Remove | Delete (for soft deletes) | Use "Delete" only when the action is permanent and irreversible. |
| E-mail / email address (as label) | Single word, no hyphen. Use "Email" as a label, not "Email address". | |
| Members | Users / Employees | "Members" for people in a workspace. "Users" is too generic. |
| Workspace | Organization / Company | The top-level Nexub entity is a "workspace". |
| Plan | Subscription / Package / Tier | "Plan" is what the user is on. Avoid jargon. |
| Payment method | Credit card / Card details | Inclusive of bank accounts, cards, and other methods. |
| Dashboard | Overview / Home / Panel | The main landing page after sign-in is the "Dashboard". |
| Settings | Preferences / Configuration / Admin | "Settings" for user-facing config. "Admin" only for admin-level sections. |
| Invite | Add / Send an invite | "Invite" as a verb. "Send invite" → just "Invite [name]". |
| Export | Download / Save as | "Export" for moving data out of the product. "Download" for files. |
